Ania Czarnecka-Seretny M.A.
Hello! As a Polish-Australian psychologist, I understand the unique challenges of navigating life across cultures, and I deeply enjoy working with expats, individuals, couples, and families. I believe that people who reach out for support are inherently capable of navigating their challenges and finding successful, long-term solutions for their mental health. I view our work together as a collaborative, mindful, and empowering relationship. Together, we will look at your past, your present, and your vision for the future to create a meaningful helping experience. I am here to guide you hand-in-hand, helping you build resilience, develop emotional awareness, and transition from painful emotions into a more balanced, peaceful life.
I practice an integrative approach tailored to fit your unique needs, combining Cognitive-Behavioral (CBT), Emotion-Focused (EFT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Aggression Replacement Training (ART). I have extensive experience helping people with:
- Stress and anxiety
- Depression
- Anger management
- ADHD coaching
- Emotional awareness and regulation
- Empathy and compassion training
- Social skills and communication
- Life transitions and expat adaptation
- Adolescent and family coaching
- Soft skill and creativity development
A little more about me
During my academic journey, I earned my Master’s degree in Psychology from Warsaw University. My professional path has been deeply rooted in both group facilitation and specialized individual care. I am a certified Aggression Replacement Training Coach and a Solution Focused Brief Therapy Practitioner. Over the years, I have dedicated myself heavily to practical, hands-on mental health support—accumulating over 400 hours of facilitated workshops.
Throughout my career, I have worked extensively with individuals, couples, and families from diverse cultural backgrounds. This international perspective allows me to specialize in psychological support for expats who are managing the complexities of building a life abroad. My background blends deep clinical empathy with actionable, skill-based coaching, ensuring that you don’t just feel heard, but that you leave our sessions with effective learning, memory, and coping techniques to navigate toward the peaceful life you deserve.
