We are a co-practicing community of independent psychotherapists and counselors who share a space at Landwehrstraße 37.
For individuals looking to improve their quality of life and mental health, the following services may be of interest:
- Couples Therapy empowers couples by teaching Gottman research-based interventions for managing conflicts, building intimacy and creating shared meaning.
- Talk-therapy/Counseling can be a transformative experience to learn more about yourself, the role of your family of origin and past experiences in creating your current situation. It is important to understand and accept aspects of your identity in order to see your life situation and more effectively cope and move forward. As needed I integrate methods from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness.
- Life Coaching is ideal for individuals looking to make concrete changes or build healthy habits. Life Coaching is also a space to reflect on negative thinking patterns or perspectives, and learn how to reframe them into positive energy and thinking.

Clinical Training
After growing up near Boston, Jennelle first studied Psychology at Bates College in Maine. She later completed a Masters in Clinical Social Work at Smith School for Social Work in Northampton, Massachusetts. This provided the foundation for her psychodynamic and integrative talk-therapy approach. Before moving abroad she gained experience in family, group and individual therapy in her work with hospice patients & families, Veterans, and intensive psychiatric outpatient patients.
Not knowing how Jennelle could continue her career upon arriving in Munich, she studied German in order to work as a counselor at a Sozial Psychiatrischer Dienst. Jennelle also worked on a multi-professional therapeutic team for patients with Psychosis at the Soteria within the Isar-Amper-Klinikum Munich before opening a private practice with recognition as a Heilpraktiker for Psychotherapy.
Professional Coaching Certification
Jennelle’s desire to coach came out of her experience at the short-term day-treatment program at Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital. Working with individuals of all ages who chose to take time out of their routine in search of a significant life change, she saw this “time-out” to be transformative. For example, when clients lose a job or retire, they are given an important opportunity to use this “road-block.” With the right reframing, one can see this obstacle as a chance to focus on values of health and redirect to take balance and well-being into account. Through this work, Jennelle has seen that choosing to live according to our values leads to a happier and more rewarding life. It is this sense of wholeness and fulfilment that many of us strive for which inspires Jennelle’s coaching practice.
Before moving to Germany, Jennelle studied at the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching in order to coach other international Expats. With 8 years of coaching experience Jennelle is now certified as a Professional Certified Coach according to the International Coaching Federation.
