About Zoe
Zoe (she/her) is a practicing counselor in the Heidelberg and Baden Württemberg region, as well as offering telehealth services throughout Germany. She is a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) in the state of Colorado and holds a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Denver. Zoe provides services for individuals and families. Her work with clients draws from her strong clinical
background, as well as her own experiences with mental health. While working in the US, Zoe practiced in residential and day treatment centers for eating disorders for both adults and adolescents, as well as providing therapy for individuals and families in hospital and outpatient settings. She typically operates from a behavioral therapy and story gathering lens, drawing from Narrative therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT).

Children, Adolescents, and their Families
In addition to her work with adults, Zoe has a significant experience working with children and adolescents. She has treated children and adolescents ages 3-18 in a variety of settings. During her final year of graduate school, Zoe also completed the LEND fellowship through University of Colorado, providing her with specialized training in treating neurodiversity and working with children with developmental delays and their families.

Eating Disorders
Zoe particularly enjoys working with clients struggling with eating disorders and their families. She is experienced providing treatment for all eating disorder diagnoses, including Anorexia, Bulimia, and Binge Eating Disorder. She is particularly passionate about helping clients establish different relationships to food and exercise. Her approach to eating disorders and disordered eating utilizes an intuitive eating and health at every size lens. When working with children and adolescents with eating disorders, Zoe particularly emphasizes partnering with families utilizing Family Based Therapy (the Maudsley method) and Emotion-Focused Family Therapy.
Fees
€110 per 50-minute individual/family session.
Sliding scale fees can be negotiated for students and clients experiencing financial difficulties.
